Artifacts Uprising Mini Photo Books
It was just that moment, the one moment when I realized that I couldn’t find some photographs. You know that moment when your phone finally dies and you “thought” you had it all backed up and when you went to look it seemed that they even disappeared off the fluffy cloud you trusted. Thankfully that is why we create back ups!
We find ourselves in that generation where printed photographs are treated like dinosaur. Have you ever felt like that? When you get printed photographs everyone’s eyebrow arches just a little in confusion. “Why would would you waste money on a printed photograph?” “Why not?,” is always my response. Money isn’t wasted on preserving those memories into a 4×6 rectangle. It is cherished, preserved for the future generations to view.
Recently Sara and I found this amazing site, Artifact Uprising! They offer great printed products and one neat book we found is a 5.5×5.5 book! The neat feature is that you can quickly create an photo booklet out of your Instagram photographs! These are photographs that you have taken the time, dedication and effort into taking, posting and writing a in depth caption. If you tally it all up, that is a LOT of work! What I love about the Instagram selection, is that is not only does it captures your photograph but what you have written underneath. This gives us a chance to experience the photograph and the feelings we felt when we shared our photograph.
Sara did a book that captured what is was like to live in her home for the first year while I did one to show our first international trip to Italy and the wedding we photographed. It is the perfect size while encasing gorgeous memories to share! So this has left me hungry for more! Artifact Uprising also lets you choose images from your computer and I am so ready to make more collections of images that capture our family traditions, trips, children and pets! The best part of all of this is I am choosing the images that for me that bring an emotional impact and that I want to achieve.
These books are so stylish and fit so easily into our lifestyle. Don’t let your images just sit on your computer/device never to be seen. Take the time to create the legacy of your family for enjoyment for years to come!
