Erin and Connor’s lush Gardens At Gray Gables wedding surpassed all expectations that Sara and I held! From the lush floral to the gorgeous couple, it was a perfect wedding day!
Erin and Connor meet when they were four years old, they went to school and even went to prom together. One year they were fighting each other for the class presidency and Connor even tired to persuade Erin’s brother and sister to vote for him! This is where the story of Erin and Connor begin, and on Friday, they added another chapter to their story.
Erin and Connor exuded a joy and peace as they began to get ready. Erin’s bridesmaid’s wore beautifully colored skirts (deep purple, navy, and blush) to accent Connor’s groomsmen light gray suits. The ladies gave that gorgeous touch as Erin slipped into her dress. Angie, Erin’s mother, had a sweet moment with her as she set the veil into place. Just before Erin left to meet her dad, Connor and Erin delivered special gifts to one another through a special person. They each wrote a note filled with promises of love and devotion to the other. Erin gave Connor a beautiful watch to wear on the wedding day. Connor gave Erin the sunglasses she has been wanting for a very long time!
The first look between Erin and her father, Brian, had all of us in tears. Brian stood there waiting for Erin to call out to him. He turned to face her with the biggest smile and his breath was taken away! Erin shed a few tears as they reached for each other to embrace. He took a step back and looked at her simply in awe of how beautiful Erin was. Erin showed her dad the three rings that she wore, her mother’s wedding band (something borrowed), and her grandmother’s wedding rings (something old), on her right hand. Erin’s “something blue” has a very special story that cannot go untold!
While on a trip, Erin received a tie around bracelet in the color blue! It was said that if you make a wish with the bracelet, once the bracelet falls off the wish comes true! Come to find out, Erin wished for Connor to propose to her and week after the bracelet fell off, Connor proposed! It was such a touching moment to see her add this “something blue” to her bouquet right before the ceremony. During the ceremony, Erin and Connor’s dear friends preformed a song as they tided three ropes together signifying their new union. The sweetest part? The touching moment Erin and Connor had afterwards. As they kissed, the guests cheered with excitement!
Sara and I just cannot wait for you to see their couple session! Its gorgeously romantic and we couldn’t stop saying to them, “oh my gosh!!” or “this is so dreamy!!” We cannot describe how thankful we are/were to be a part of this gorgeous couples day.
