Valentine’s Day can be a difficult holiday to celebrate for two reasons. One, it is in the middle of the week AND two, you might be tired of getting your significant other the same gift every year. That’s why Michelle and I are here to help you along with your Valentine’s Day gift with some elegant, but simple gift ideas so that you don’t have to worry!
Here are Michelle and I’s top five Valentine’s Day gift ideas for your spouse, fiancè, or boyfriend/girlfriend!
GIVE A GIFT THAT PAMPERS
One of my favorite gifts to receive are gifts that I can use to pamper myself. Lush USA is a cruelty free brand that offers beautiful bath/shower/skin products that are perfect gifts to give! Everyone loves to pamper themselves, so why not do it in style! They offer amazing products to create the perfect, most beautiful smelling, bubble bath with bubble bars and bath bombs. Don’t have a bath? No worries! They offer amazing products for your shower as well that make you feel even more pampered! (Not a sponsored post, we just love them so much!)
GIVE A MULTITUDE OF GIFTS FOR THE WEEK
If you’re big into Valentine’s Day where you want to make the week a celebration than this is for you! Turn Valentine’s Day into a Valentine’s Week! Count seven days back from Valentine’s Day (with v-day being the seventh day) and begin your week! You can send them a single red rose everyday with a note telling them one thing you love about them. You can write a hand written note that you put into their car, lunch box, or briefcase. If you have a week long celebration just remember to make these multiple gifts meaningful.
GIVE A GIFT OF A TEDDY BEAR
Teddy bears are a classic gift, but if you want to make it extra special then we have an idea for you! Head on over to Build-A-Bear and order one of their classic bears then add something extra! You can add a little voice box that tells your loved one how much you love them or purchase an outfit that reflects their style! One year I purchased Jake a classic bear and put him in a chef’s outfit with a frying pan (that included an egg!). He loved it!
GIVE A GIFT AROUND THE FIVE SENSES
You can create an interactive multi-layered gift centered around the five senses. One for taste, touch/feel, smell, see, and hearing. You can mix and match some of them together and have your partner guess what they some of the items could be. This makes your gift playful and interactive, which can be very unique!
GIVE A GIFT OF DINNER
Valentine’s Day may seem like a very stressful idea, but it can be very simple and elegant dinner at home! Either create a new dish that they other has been wanting to try OR cook a dish that is their favorite! Create a cozy sitting area, pop in their favorite movie, and enjoy your dinner together!
Oh, don’t forget to put your phone on silent during your date! 😉 Enjoy that beautiful quality time with each other!
