Family, that’s what is truly important to us all at the end of the day. Nicole and Devin’s Intimate Outdoor Private Home Wedding shouts family from the rooftop!
For Sara and I, it was such a surreal day. When we wrote about Nicole and Devin on the engagement session blog, Nicole and her family are long-time friends of ours. I have known Nicole since she was born! So it’s beyond surreal to see Nicole all dressed in a gorgeous champagne-colored dress walking down the aisle!
To say that Nicole radiated beauty and pure joy is a complete understatement! The excitement for the day filled the air with laughter and joy that could move mountains! When Devin arrived, he had such a calming peace about him! He was ready to marry his love.
If we’re going to be completely honest, there are truly so many moments that we love from this wedding! It all started with Devin’s sister giving Devin a special pin to have inside of his suit. This pin held a photograph of their dad, who had passed away, and oh my word – cue the tears! It was seriously just such a touching moment and no one around had dry eyes!
Two of our other favorite moments was during the ceremony. The first was just seeing Nicole walking down the aisle arm-in-arm with Donna and Kevin. Since I have watched Nicole grow up into the beautiful woman she is today, it was touching to see her mom walk her down. Photographing that moment gave me nothing but pure joy and felt so honored to be trusted with that. While I photographed Nicole walking in, Sara photographed Devin’s reaction and just WAIT until you see it. CUE THE TEARS.
Our last, but certainly not least, favorite moment was how much love Nicole and Devin were surrounded by. Not only did we have three past brides at this wedding, but Nicole and Devin just exuded all the joy, excitement and love one dreams about having on their wedding day.
