Reasons Why You Should Use Mile IQ As A Business Owner BUSINESS

Business

January 24, 2019

In the creative business world, there are SO many blogs dedicated to giving you great business content! For our blog, while Sara and I are mainly a bridal education based blog, we also love to switch things up a bit. In one of the ways, we do that is bring you, the business owner, business tips that we’ve learned and want to share with you!

As a creative business owner, everything counts and matters. Every single penny counts and that’s why it is SO important to know your fiances! It’s also extremely important for those who travel A LOT for their business to record it. Why? For taxes!! You can use your business mileage for your business taxes, which is amazing!! However, how do you store that without going crazy and creating your own PDF of it?! Mile IQ!

Let us introduce you to Mile IQ!

One of my top reasons why we love using Mile IQ is that it tracks my miles so effortlessly.  Mile IQ is so easy to use and helps me separate my business miles from my personal with just a swipe.  It’s fast and easy!  If you are stressed out about keeping track of your mileage,  sign up for Mile IQ.  Download the app and then take your first drive and it will begin to log in your mileage. Truly it is that simple. The app will ask you to enter a little bit of information, the make and model of your car, your starting mileage and from there, it will log every drive.

To classify a drive, you can open the app, and then simply swipe to the left for personal or to the right for business. You can also log your drives on your desktop too. You can join drives together; make notes within the drive (where you went) as the IRS requires that. They also are great about sending you reminders to go in and categorize your drives.

With Mile IQ you can enter another car’s information in case you use more than one vehicle. Then you can classify what vehicle you used. Or if you forget to shut Mile IQ off and you are in a different car, you can delete the drive. Going on vacation? No problem set a time for Mile IQ to shut off and to restart on the date you wish.

At the end of the year, you will get a nice PDF with all your drives, categorized and in a spreadsheet. You now have all the documentation you need for taxes, that simple.  At the beginning of a new year, they will ask for current mileage. This has saved me so much time that it frees me up to do other things!

Mile IQ is only $59.99 but if you click this link you will save 20% when purchasing!!
