This Private Residential Bridal Session in New Bern is a special one. It is special because of the meaning behind why.
Maddie confided in us that her father’s doctor didn’t believe that he would be present for her and John’s wedding.
While that sentence ends with a period, their story doesn’t end there! Praise the Lord that Jack was present for Maddie and John’s wedding!
As photographers, our goal is not only to provide an incredible experience to our couples, but it is also to tell a story – the couple’s story. This is a part of Maddie’s. However, there is so much joy in the midst of all of the what-if’s, and when Maddie told us the story of what was happening, this session came to be! Maddie used half of her bridal session to have a sweet, beautifully touching, first look with Jack.
Maddie didn’t just stop there, she went on to get Jack the most thoughtful gift a daughter could get her dad, uniquely made cufflinks. On one is a photo of Maddie and Jack together and the other a little note. To watch Maddie and Jack’s joy as they shared in such a sweet moment was beyond beautiful. You best believe that there were tears from all of us watching on!
As Maddie’s family is settled in New Bern, her sweet friend let us borrow her beautiful home, right on the river, as the background for her session! As you begin to scroll through, be ready to have your tissues nearby because this is a sweet one!
