Whoa, just whoa. This engagement session was amazing!!! Sara and I had Rebecca and Evan’s engagement session marked down in our calendars for several months and goodness, it was a blast!
Before we get into how amazing the session was, let’s first tell you a little bit more about these two cuties. Rebecca and Evan met in law school (!!) about seven and a half years ago. They both graduated from law school and work for two different company’s. Before she met Evan, Rebecca did not care for cats. However, Evan adores cats and brought Rebecca over for the love of cats! Which is perfect because their April wedding at the Brookstown Inn has an inn cat. They are hoping the cat will make a wedding day appearance!
Before their session, we met at Brookstown Inn to walk around with them to see the ideas for their wedding day. Then off to Old Salem we went for their engagement session in Winston Salem! The weather wasn’t too cool, but oh so cloudy, but still perfect for us! Old Salem shops close around five o’clock and it was perfect timing because very few people were out and about. The cobblestoned streets, the white fences, and the old building architecture added such a unique charm and was darling! What made it even better was the two sweet souls (Rebecca and Evan) completely working it in front of the camera!
We kept saying how amazing they were doing because it was the truth – the backdrop suited them perfectly as they were charming every single spot! When editing the session, we couldn’t stop saying that every single photograph was our favorite- they’re all SO good!
