A Black Tie Italian Wedding, Ancona Province, Italy
When you’re a little girl, you always dream of having a fairy-tale wedding. You dream of wearing a beautiful ballgown wedding dress about to marry the dashing groom dressed in a black tuxedo! Are we right?! Well, we just have to say that Silvia and Lorenzo’s wedding was THAT fairy-tale day! From start to finish, it was GORGEOUS. Michelle and I kept saying “OH my goodness, YES!” or we kept asking the question, “Are you two fashion models?!” We bet that you will agree with us once you see this gorgeous wedding!
First, this wedding was in the most STUNNING part of Italy you could ever imagine! Rolling hills with hay bales one way then take a five minute drive down to the BEACH!! WOW, that was the best part!! You had a variety of portrait locations to shoot at which made this wedding so unique just in that aspect! Not only were the shooting locations different, but they also added a pop of color to their entrance and our drive around Senigallia! They rode around in a vintage VW Bus that was bright summer yellow!! It was a statement piece that wowed everyone!!
The morning started off with Silvia and Lorenzo getting ready at their parents houses while friends and family came to greet them! They would stop by to give their congrats along with bring them a few snacks to eat! One of our favorite moments that made me tear up was when Silvia walked out to see her parents for the first time! Her mother and father were just in joyous tears, that EVERYONE couldn’t stop themselves from crying! It was one of the most touching, real life moments of what a wedding is truly like. Our hearts are still so full when we see that photograph.
After the Silvia and Lorenzo signed the marriage certificate, they went around to greet everyone they could see! Family members, dear friends, and guest who were attending. Everyone moved outside while the formal photographs took place so everyone could get in place to the grand EXIT. Yes, you read that right, the grand exit!! In Italy, when the bride and groom exit the church, they typically walk out to their guests cheering them while tossing rice in celebration! It was such a neat experience to have! Before we whisked them off, they went around giving hugs and kisses to the rest of her guest!
Finally, the most gorgeous part…the couple session!! We went around all of Senigallia for almost two hours photographing Silvia and Lorenzo in various locations! The rolling hills, at the beach, down in the middle of Senigallia while a festival was happening! It was the most beautiful, fun, romantic session! The reception was filled with tons of appetizers, 7 course dinner, and a dessert bar for miles to see! From the beginning to the end of the evening, it was just a stunning day. We cannot truly say how much we loved this day, these amazing people, and how these memories will stay with us for a lifetime.
