My goodness, are you ready for this engagement session?
Are. You. Ready?!
Michelle and I are blown away by how amazing, darling, and funny our couples are and Sarah and Dylan are no exception! We had such a blast at their engagement session, their story is so cute and in classic M&S fashion, we awe’d the whole time! Sarah and Dylan met by two of their mutual best friends and it seemed to just fall right into place.
When asking where they had their first date, they couldn’t remember! By spending time with their mutual friends together, somewhere in there they had their first date. It was really cute to see them both shrug and say, “we don’t remember!”
What is even cuter is how happy Sarah and Dylan were to be back in a place that meant so much to them. Backstory time! When we talk to our couples, we always encourage them to have their engagement session at a place meaningful to them if possible. So how is the Quaker Lake Camp meaningful to them? Well, this is the (just one) of the touching parts to their story!
Sarah’s grandparents started the Quaker Lake Camp back in the 194o’s and it’s been a part of their family ever since!! Sarah’s worked on the camp and became friends with her best friend there! The other touching part of the story? Dylan proposed to Sarah and it was so important for them to have at least one photograph in the same spot! It all ties into the biggest thing for them, as Sarah said in her session, they absolutely love Jesus and He is truly a part of their story!
There are so many special (and beautiful) places we could have gone to inside of the camp! Oh, we also couldn’t forget about, Luna and Bentley, their beloved pups! These two joined us in the beginning for a few photographs and we’re so happy they did! There are truly so many things we could write about Sarah and Dylan, but then we would never get to their sneak peek that you have to see!
