For the last several months, we have just been SO excited about photographing this wedding! Not for anything but the simple fact that we just absolutely adore Lorin and Chance! These two bring so much light and joy into everyone’s lives. And we knew we would adore these two from the first email we received and from their engagement session! After changing their plans from having it at a venue they opted for a small intimate ceremony and reception at Lorin’s family home. While COVID is apart of our lives they did not let that destroy their joy and celebrations when it came to their wedding day!
Just as a (good) warning, you may cry because we sure did with everyone else because the day was just so precious!
These two and their families are the most loving, kind, generous, and thoughtful people! Not only did Lorin and Chance exchange gifts, but Lorin also gave her mother (Lori) and father (Bud) gifts. Lori was able to enjoy a few moments alone with Lorin as she helped her dress into her gown before Lorin did a dress reveal to her bridesmaids. After a hug-fest from her girls, her father and she had a special little first look. The last first look was Lorin and Chance’s right in front of the same place he proposed. Are you crying yet?! We told you that you would!
Our favorite part, we probably have 20 of them, but the one we loved watching the most was seeing Chance just kiss Lorin every time he could. Whether it be a kiss on the cheek or forehead or hand, he would do it. Right, when Bud handed Lorin off to Chance he scooped up her hands into his and kissed them. He did that throughout their first look, ceremony, and reception.
After they said their “I Do’s” and had their couple session (which again we cannot pick just a few from!), they went right into their reception with a first dance as guests watched on. Their reception was quaint and intimate, but they didn’t skimp out on those fun wedding traditions! Toasts that made everyone cry, cake cutting (that was delicious by the way), and dancing their way into a sparkler exit!
There are SO many moments that we can share with you about or the fact that Lorin and Chance (and their families) are like our family. We love and adore these two. Now it’s time to share a bigger sneak peek of their wedding day below!!
