A Lavish Durham Wedding | Rickhouse Reception

Well folks, we are officially at the home stretch of our wedding season with only one wedding left to photograph! We just cannot believe that we are SO close to the end of 2016 weddings! Thanksgiving is just TWO days away, how surreal is that?! It is also just so exciting that this is one of our amazing final weddings and we can finally share it today! You might remember Christine and Nathan’s engagement session from not to long ago! It featured the American Tobacco Campus along with the Durham Bulls Stadium! They have such a deep love for Durham that it only makes perfect sense for them to hold their wedding at their family church with the reception at the Rickhouse!

Our favorite moments included Christine’s gorgeous details with the touches of deep purple, a sprinkle in of bright green, and gray. We loved that Christine had three of her guy friends stand up for her at the wedding. As one of Christine’s bridegrooms said, “Even when you [Nathan] weren’t in her life, she always still talked about you. I knew that this day would come when you guys reconnected again.” Their bridal party was filled with people who supported them, loved them, and were so happy for their future together.

As Christine was getting her final touches of makeup on, she took a big deep breath to just enjoy every single moment that was about to unfold. When her bridesmaids began to lace up Christine’s dress, her mother and her shared a moment that doesn’t need words to describe. It was a love that was shared between them, a bond that brought them close together.

We just were so thankful to be part of this beautiful day with some spectacular vendors! Cheers to Christine and Nathan, we hope Aruba was amazing!!
