Can you already believe that fall is just right around the corner? We are just so surprised how fast this year keeps going by and it isn’t stopping anytime soon! In our slower month there is a lot of amazing bridal content that we are dreaming up to share from outfit ideas, wedding exits, bridal portrait tips, to honeymoon tips to help you!
When planning out for your engagement session there are few variables that you have to consider. Lighting is going to change from the summer lighting, locations will look different depending on the season, and of course outfits will be different depending on the weather. However outfits also provide a huge insight into your personality, individually and together, and can deepen how we tell your love story. If you also are having a very long engagement then you can always have your engagement session in the same season as your wedding, which adds so much more!
Sara and I know that we have a LOT of engagement sessions coming up in the next few months as we transition from summer to fall so we are going to give you our top 10 tips for your fall engagement outfit ideas!
Layer neutral colored sweaters over a clean, crisp button downs shirt for a classic, pulled-together look
A felt hat and boots scream fall. You can even layer a shearing-lined denim jacket as well
Coordinating in boldly colored scarves adds a little spice to your fall engagement style
If you want to keep it casual: you both can match with cozy fleece pull-overs
Mix patterns by bringing along a plaid scarf to contrast with your printed sweaters
Ladies: A pair of blue jeans, blouse, statement necklace and high heel shoes
Gents: Jacket, dress shirt, blue jeans, watch and shinned shoes
Keep warm while looking cool in edgy leather jackets. You can add a patterned jacket with leather details to compliment her classic look
Create a juxtapose feminine and masculine style with pastel shades with black/gray accents
