The Grandover Resort is just an absolutely stunning location for any and all occasions! The backdrop of the rolling hills and tall trees surrounds the property. The main garden then flows into two mini gardens, one sunk in pergola and one sitting area. After you take a long stroll through the gardens, several bridges surround the rest of the walkway. Sara and I could not stop saying how gorgeous it was. Now that was until Jennifer and Eric came onto the picture!
Jennifer and Eric are a fun loving and hardworking couple, who are getting married in September! As we walked around the Grandover gardens, we asked them all about their wedding dreams, how Eric proposed, and what they find so important. Our favorite story was how Eric proposed to Jennifer! During Christmas they created a tradition of buying a Christmas ornament every year. Last year Eric decided to surprise Jennifer and picked out their Christmas ornament early! When he told Jennifer to go see the ornament hanging on the tree, she didn’t know it, but this was how Eric was going to propose! The ring sat delicately on top of the ornament, and written on the actual ornament was, “Jennifer, will you marry me?” Jennifer turned around to see Eric down on one knee while his phone was recording it all! It was a sweet Christmas to remember!
Eric and Jennifer told us that about how they love to have a fun and relaxing time with one another, all about their puppy Bear and the love they have for their families! Each family is so very important to them and a big part of the wedding. Sara and I asked about the wedding details and we couldn’t stop being so excited! Their wedding is going to be amazing! No spoilers yet! 😉
Now enjoy just a few of our favorites from Jennifer and Eric’s gorgeous summer Grandover Resort Engagement Session!
