A Lush Country Wedding | The Barns At Summerfield Farms

The rain could not stop Melissa and Matthew from having a gorgeous wedding at The Barn at Summerfield Farms! Melissa and Matthew met while working together at Urban Outfitters. As Melissa said, she does believe that opposites do attract! She loves the beach, he loves the woods. He loves country music and she…well doesn’t care for it! However, Matthew knew how to win Melissa over by making her fall in love with his four legged friend, Penny! They began to connect through their love of dogs and by the New Years Eve Party Matthew invited Melissa too, they both were serious about each other. Oh, don’t worry, Matthew did have to go through meeting Melissa’s dog, Tyson. To Melissa’s excitement, Tyson adored Matthew! Two and a half years of engagement lead up to this day of them finally saying “I do!,” with their dogs both agreeing!

The Barn at Summerfield Farms found to be the perfect wedding venue for this sweet couple. The ceremony and reception site became alive with lush details and colors! It was just breath-taking! White, green, and dark burgundy colors add to this lush country wedding! Matthew even added some personal touches by cutting and making each cake stand out of wood! One of the most beautiful moments of the day was when Matthew waited for his bride to walk down the aisle and started to tear up. It was SO sweet!
