A Romantic Garden Anniversary Session at Sarah P. Duke Gardens
No matter what time of year it is, Duke Gardens is always gorgeous! Most of the trees still had their leaves and some just popped with color! It was such a CHILLY Sunday afternoon, but this romantic and fun anniversary session warmed my soul! Sam + Nancy are just the absolute sweetest! We had the best time out catching up, laughing, and having a blast! We photographed Sam and Nancy’s daughter (Amanda) wedding in early 2014, at Childress Winery(Amanda + Ethan)! It was so cute how this all came together! Amanda wanted to surprise her parents for their anniversary! She came up with the idea of having them come and have a anniversary session gifted to them!! It was the sweetest thought a daughter could have for their parents! As I walked throughout the gardens with them, I found out what Sam loves most about Nancy… her GORGEOUS blue eyes. Which is true because I was memorized by them! Nancy not only loves Sam’s handsome face but also they way he has taken and still takes care of her and their family. Love is precious, you must nurture it so it can continually grow and blossom, season after season I think they could write a book on how to do it! They are still in love and it was so magical to photograph! You can tell by how they tease one another gently and laugh, they make each other laugh and smile.
