Celebrating Christmas cheer!
I know what you are probably thinking..another Christmas/Holiday post again?? YES, that is truly how much we love Christmas! We have spent this past weekend decorating both Michelle’s house and my apartment! The best part? Sitting down at the end of the day with our favorite drink in hand, curled up on the couch underneath the Christmas lights! Yet, sometimes during the holidays we can desire to do things, but we lose track of time and Christmas is already here! Yes, I am talking about Christmas cards! We loved receiving some Christmas cards from our lovely #mrpbrides! Makes our hearts so happy. 🙂
Since we are in the holiday spirit, I thought I would bring you the top five Christmas cards tips that I have learned!
Tip 1: Always start earlier than you think! Want to use an image for or with your Christmas card? Take even more time to plan it all out, don’t want to the very last second. Why? Because honestly, everyone is scrambling right before Christmas to create/print or send out cards at the last minute! Also, some business might stop taking in orders after a certain period of time or they cannot promise before Christmas delivery. It is better to be early!
Tip 2: Buy Christmas cards you adore in large quantities! I cannot honestly not tell you how many Christmas cards I have. (…way too many!) Even though Jake doesn’t understand it, it is better to have so many because you never know how many people you want to send cards too. It could be more than you think, and its always harder to stop in the middle of writing them to go buy more. Plus, you have more for next year!
Tip 3: Try to write all of your Christmas cards in one-to-two sittings at most! Otherwise, life can distract you (it happens a lot) and then you don’t finish half of your cards. Then you might fight between the decision of should I finish or just forget cards this year. Don’t quit! Christmas cards are a lovely gift, power through you can do it!!
Tip 4: Set up your Christmas card bunch in a creative way! You can set your cards up by hanging them on year designed in the shape of a tree, banner or a wreath! You could have the option of sticking them on the walls or the sides of door frames! Be creative when receiving all of your amazing and beautiful cards!
Tip 5: Christmas cards, even to old friends, mean the world. They might not have any hand written note on it, but receiving a Christmas card in is the most touching thing to the holiday season!
I hope that these five tips help you create, use, and send out some memorable Christmas cards!
