Everyday I come into work,  I get to be along side one of the most talented young women I know, my daughter. She inspires me to dig deeper, to believe and to have faith that God has me safely in the palm of his hand. It has been a joyous 2015 and Sara and I are beyond excited looking forward to the new year. With every new year, goals are made, set but sometime soon forgotten when the month of February rolls around. Has that ever happened to you? So we decide to make a big change this year… are you ready for it?

We have been working on Lara Casey’s 2016 Power sheets as well as reading her book “Make it Happen” (we highly recommend them both!).  Not only are we doing one for our business, but we each are doing one for our personal goals. What we love about these power sheets is they quite simply ask the powerful questions! With powerful questions, comes answers that just may amaze you.

For 2016 we have chosen the word “Intentional“.  We desire to live a life full of intention. We want a year of intentional planning, encouragement, growth, dreams and most importantly time…intentional time to do what we love! This might be saying yes or saying no to other ideas or plans. This year we truly want to have intention put into everything we do and have all the hard work count. However, when we take a vacation we want to enjoy that too without feeling guilty or that we have to constantly work. Our time is precious, so we have to be intentional with it. We also have a few (well quite a few goals) we would like to achieve, but here are just several ones:

• Pushing the boundaries with each of us and master our photography!
• Photograph an International Wedding (MAJOR Bucket list goal)!!!!
• Serve our community more!
• Be Intentional with our time + our words!

So if you have goals that you are working on or if there something down inside of you that you really want to do but may think it is too late?  It is never to late to “Shoot for the moon, if you miss you will be among the stars.” (Les Brown). So shoot for the moon and you just may be surprised at what you may can accomplish!

So yes we are dreaming bigger, reaching higher and following what God has put inside our hearts. We would love to hear about your biggest goal is for this coming year! We may even share our personal goals with you sometime soon, but until then!!
