An Intimate Scottish Wedding At The Burke Manor Inn | The Westchester Wedding Planner Feature
Happy Friday!! We have been posting a lot more on the blog recently and you know why!! Publications really help other Brides + Grooms get inspired and this wedding is one for the books!! We just found out that Carol Anne and Chad’s stunning Scottish Inspired Wedding at The Burke Manor was featured on The Westchester Wedding Planner Feature! This lovely blog has so much inspiration for brides! From real weddings, planning, look book as well as recipes for future homes!
Carol Anne and Chad wanted their wedding to incorporate their Scottish heritage into every aspect of their wedding. Chad and Joseph (Carol Anne’s son and best man) wore a kilt with each of the clan colors and pins! Carol Anne had her lucky pence in her left shoe, given to her by her father, and added pops of color that connected back to both of their families clans. Including a sash that adorn Carol Anne’s dress was from her grandmother’s clan. One of our favorite detail that they included in their wedding was where their invitations and kilts were made from. Are you ready for this? They were all made…in Scotland just for Carol Anne and Chad! How amazing is that?! Pops of tartan where seen everywhere including their cake!
The lovely Burke Manor and Pavilion Inn us this quaint bed and breakfast located in the heart of Gibsonville (NC) and it is a perfect place for intimate weddings! The ceremony was in the lovely gardens and the reception on the front porch of the Manor. The food being made by French Chef St Jacques, oh, it was so magical!!
