Many of our 2017-2018 Brides have started to ask the question: “what kind of grand exit should we have?” Well, this is a pretty big question to answer! Why? There are a lot of different answers we can tell you! So for our Tuesday blog, Sara and I wanted to share all about the best Grand Exits a Bride & Groom can choose and a few helpful tips!
SPARKLES
Sparklers are one of the most desired wedding exits by B&Gs when planning their grand exit! Pros: You have gorgeous night time exit photographs and the guests always have a blast with the sparklers! Cons: Many wedding venues have regulations in place in order for you to have a sparkler exit, so always double check with your wedding venue first! Secondly, when ordered your sparklers, make sure to purchase smoke free sparklers! This will create a clean spark from the sparkler rather than a smokey sparkler!
The next options are widely used by venues in replacement of sparklers.
GLOW STICKS
Glow sticks are gaining on popularity! They are a pretty pop of color again the stark darkness of the evening, they can duel as a cute parting gift, and photographing them in movement can create a unique wedding exit photograph!
FLAGS/RIBBON STICKS
Just like glow sticks, flags or ribbon sticks are a wonderful way of adding a pop of color and fun to your exit photographs! You can also have your flag/ribbons match your wedding color scheme!
ROSE PETALS/BIRDSEED
During our Italian wedding we photographed last year, when they exited the church the guest held birdseed to toss after the couple busted through the giant heart! It seriously came out with one of our favorite exit photographs to date!
BUBBLES
Bubbles are such a quirky way to a have your grand exit! The guests really can interact with you, bubbles are always fun with children, and it adds a bit of playfulness to the end of your wedding day!
You can even mix two of these ideas together such as ribbon flags and bubbles! It adds another dimension to the grand exit photograph!
