A Colorful Cedarock Historical Park Engagement Session in Burlington, NC

 Wow, two AMAZING back-to-back sessions at Cedarock Historical Park has just blew us away! The leaves kept changing colors and we could feel November bring in a chill, but that added to this gorgeous fall engagement session!! Rebecca and Braxton are just one of our fantastic 2016 MRP couples that we can’t stop raving about!

It was SO adorable to hear all about how these two met! Rebecca was really close with Braxton’s younger sister (Mary) for so many years! Mary and Rebecca had many sleepovers, family vacations spent together, and she was always over at Mary’s house! As they grew older and Rebecca’s family moved into a new school district, they lost touch. Fast forward to when Rebecca was a senior in High School, sleeping-over at another friends house, her friends older brother shows up with some of his friends which just happened to include Braxton! After a moment of “I know you” and “I know you too!,” they couldn’t be separated!

We just LOVED photographing them! Braxton knew how to make Rebecca just light up, and Rebecca knew the ways to make Braxton smile! We scouted all around to find that beautiful glow and to find trees with pops of color!! They moved and worked together so well! Even when they stated that they weren’t to photogenic…psh, tell that to Sara who had to cull the engagement session down! She was struggling because every single one was GORGEOUS!! Rebecca and Braxton, you two were just a dream!

Oh my goodness, look at that lift!! Braxton, you are awesome!!

Our favorite part is how Rebecca knew that it was only by God that they found each other.  That even through the serious of events, God grew them into the incredible couple they are today.  When he proposed two years ago, on Christmas Eve, at his house it totally shocked her! You can just see their amazing Godly hearts that have a desire to serve Him and love others!

Rebecca + Braxton, thank you for letting us be apart of this amazing new adventure! We cannot wait until next October!!!
