Welcome to the NEW and improved #mrpoffice!! This truly has been a long time coming. Everything needed to be repainted, revamped, reorganized and well…. rejuvenated! I think this is the season of getting our office life in check..maybe just a general season of getting everything revamped! But you always have to do it! We couldn’t leave the office in the condition compared to EVERYTHING else that we have been working on. Have you ever felt like that? Once you clean one area, you have to do clean everywhere?
When this room became “my official office” over 7 years ago, I decided to leave the ceiling just the way it was…as this once used to be Sara’s room. I had painted a blue sky with white fluffy clouds and put star’s that glowed at night on the ceiling just for her and I just couldn’t remove it. It reminded me of all the memories we had created together. When Sara and I talked about what type of office we would like, we decided it was time to paint the ceiling as well. Needless-to-say I got a little teary eyed when we began to roll the paint over the clouds. However, I know that we are in there creating new memories together as a team still! I even love that the pastel multi-color blade ceiling fan is now in my granddaughters, Alaina, room! Matthew came and hung the new ceiling fan for us. (Thanks Matt!!)
We absolutely love that the new office!! It is light and airy and really reflects who we are! We have added some white floating shelves that hold some of our favorite things! Some old cameras, succulents, photographs, as well as a beautiful WillowTree Mother and Daughter figurative sculpture that Sara gave to me. We still have our framed workflow checklist and new prints to add to the walls, but we couldn’t wait to show it! Now to the tough part…choosing what images to hang because after all we love ALL of our #MRPBrides! It is going to be so joyful to come in every morning to our new office!
