A Fun Elon University Engagement Session in Elon, North Carolina

Elon University is full of beautiful brick, lush ivy, and architecture that you just wouldn’t believe! Now, I know photographing at a University may seem a little silly, but North Carolina has SO many gorgeous campus’ that you can’t resist!! And honestly…it doesn’t look like a college campus!! LOVE that!

But enough about the location and on to our lovely 2016 couple who are just SO much fun! They love to enjoy the beautiful life they have rather than waste a single second on anything else..and this couple does exactly that! Taylor and Elizabeth (aka, Lyz) are just wonderful to photograph! With a larger than life personality, we began our session in the beautiful heart of Elon! The clouds were covering our beautiful sun, however that never stopped us from having fun, but also being romantic! As we walked around, we talked about friends, families, future plans, and even past events! Oh, we even got the details on wedding and the proposal!!

Not only did we have fun, like we haven’t said it before, but Taylor is a long-time family friend of ours! Which makes it even more special…and nerve racking to photograph! We couldn’t even wait to say yes when they asked us to photograph their wedding! We were beyond touch and excited that he asked us! We can’t wait for this April, we not only get to photograph a lifelong friend, but get to be a part of the celebration! Oh, I forgot to mention that the wedding is in Nags Head (North Carolina) at Janet’s Pier!

I even got a little chocked up thinking about when the last time I photographed Taylor, and that was when he and Sara were 8 years old. 8! My goodness. It really got me thinking of how wonderful it is to see him grow from a little boy into a man who found a woman he loves. Cheers to Taylor + Lyz!
