An UP Inspired Starlight Meadows Wedding | Burlington NC
“The Adventure Begins Here!”
Jennifer and Connor have finally started that beautiful adventure of marriage!
Jennifer is a fun, energetic, song-singing type of school teacher! Her face lights up with the most adorable expressions! Let’s not even talk about how contagious her laugh is! We believe it is a laugh that you could never stop listening too! Connor is the sweetest and most gentle soul you could ever meet! Together they are like Peanut Butter and Jelly, the string to a balloon, and like Jennifer said, “the Princess Buttercup to her Westley!” Their love for their families, their friends, and for each other just blew us away! Their hearts are so big!
There were so many favorite parts to the day that to try to number them is quite difficult! First, Jennifer loved expressing herself by cutting off the bottom of her dress to make it a t-length dress! She ROCKED it, and it was a perfect dress for almost 98 degree weather! Jennifer and Connor love the movie, UP, by Pixar…so what better way give a perfect theme for their wedding! The barn at Starlight Meadows was filled with floating balloons with pops of turquoise, yellow, and gray! You just felt the magic as they danced the evening away!! Oh, the details were just the cutest! An UP inspired invitation set, candy boxes as their little give away gifts, ribbon wands that guests could use to cheer with, and a tree craved three-tiered cake with cupcakes on the side!
A touching family moment was when Jennifer’s brother, Andrew, drew Jennifer + Connor a picture of them as the characters from UP! There were so many tears, gasps of surprise, and hugs that the moment is just even more precious! In addition to all the other beautiful memories, during their first dance as husband and wife, Jennifer and Connor learned the Box Step to preform to the song of Say Nothing At All by Allison Kraus! No one had a dry eye as we watched them twirl around the dance floor! As a result, Sara and I couldn’t stop tearing up!
Jennifer and Connor were married at Starlight Meadows down at the Gazebo surrounded by their closest family and friends! The tall hay enclosed them with a backdrop of distant farming hills, it was picture perfect! While the weather was very hot, the guests stayed to celebrate the start of Jennifer and Connor’s beautiful adventure!
