It is a very rare thing that blogging days and birthday actually meet, but today is the day! Today is the day we are celebrating Michelle’s birthday!
This last weekend, the whole family met up together to have a gorgeous lunch out at the Cheesecake Factory! The high was only 73 degrees, there was a cool autumn breeze, and we just all could not stop laughing! When it came time to praying for our food, Jake couldn’t have said it better! “Lord, we thank you for Michelle – a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. We are all thankful to have her in our lives and for everything that she does for us.” I was even a little teary eyed at the end of that prayer. Yet, his words rang with so much truth.
Michelle, aka mommabear, you have always been the one who has supported all of my crazy dreams from when I was going to be a princess to a cat lady to becoming your business partner.Trust me, I am still a cat lady on the inside, but a good kind of cat lady! You have encouraged me to chase after my dreams, picked me up when I felt weary, and gave me all of the best pointers when it comes to making pasta! Thank you for taking the past 25 years to pour into my life with love, devotion, and care. I seriously couldn’t be more amazed to call you not only my mom, but a dear dear friend who I love so much.
Blare your Pride & Prejudice, eat your circus peanuts, and let’s cheer to you – mommabear! I hope you have the happiest of birthdays!
