Hannah and Cameron’s modern fairy-tale Asheville wedding at Homewood was absolutely breathtaking! Not only were we the photographers, but also guests! Our husbands (and Theodore) were able to come as guests as well which we loved!
You might be wondering, haven’t I seen these two before?? The answer – yes! These two are not unfamiliar to the M&S blog. Not only are these two (and Hannah’s parents, Amanda & Ed) our friends, but we were honored that we could photograph Cameron proposing to Hannah, their engagement session, and now their wedding!!
There are so many moments that we truly love and could honestly write a book about, but we will give you just a few snippets then let you enjoy the photographs! Hannah began getting ready in a sweet Airbnb with the most stunning view of the Blue Ridge Parkway! She got ready with her girls and man of honor, Sam, and looked like a beautiful princess! Then had a sweet first look with her dad, Ed. Riding from the Airbnb in a 1959 Rolls-Royce (!!!) to Homewood, which is a fairy-tale-like castle with secret pockets of gorgeousness and a beautiful wooden interior.
A little pocket of rain came right after the before formals (yay for teamwork and a bride willing to run!) and during the ceremony but stopped perfectly for cocktail hour and their couple session. For the ceremony, they said traditional Celtic vows while their hands were bound with the family tartan. They were hand-bound with the family tartan as a connection to Hannah’s Scottish heritage! Plus she was born in Scotland so that was a must. For their session we let them twirl, dance, lift, and (sweaty) cuddle all around the Homewood. These two are simply amazing and rocked it out, even in the heat!!
