You truly don’t believe how fast time can move until you have a baby. You watch him (or her) grow so quickly that finally feel like you can measure time with something. They did *this* at this age on this month…from holding his head up to now being a crawling machine!

(We’re still working on the walking and that’s okay with this mama, I don’t want him growing up too fast! ;))

But now, my sweet Teddy is a year old.

I really didn’t even know where to start on this post. I mean how can you write something that you feel so deeply in your heart, but it’s hard to put into words. This time would come, I knew it, but it’s true…time doesn’t stop when you have a babe, it just goes by faster.

Honestly I have watched the cursor blink for way too long on the screen before I could even start to write something without crying, but I have found that waiting for the perfect words to come never do..it’s better to just start writing.

My sweet Theodore, what can I say? You’ve grown into a lovely, handsome, sassy, and very independent little boy. You’re no longer that squishy babe that would nap on me everyday, but a playful toddler who loves so deeply. God gave me (and your dada) you and I cannot say how blessed I am by having you in our little family. As the years go on I want to cherish every moment I have with you, every second (the good + the hard) because I know it is fleeting.
