A Gorgeous Late Summer Downtown Wilmington Wedding at The Embassy Suites Celina + Brett

Celina and Brett’s wedding is an event that is near and dear to our hearts. We mentioned it briefly in their engagement session blog article, but Celina is a dear friend of mine (Sara) and Angie, Celina’s mother, is someone who (during high school) was always like another mama in my life. After photographing Angie’s intimate wedding and knowing this family for years, when Celina got engaged and contacted us we couldn’t wait to send “YES!”.

Celina and Brett were married with a close group of dear family and friends at the gorgeous Embassy Suites in downtown Wilmington! The view outside of the hotel was so stunning with the Riverfront and the NC Battleship as part of the background. Leading up to the ceremony there was a calm and peaceful energy, along with some donut cheers, that we just loved about the day! For the ceremony one of Celina’s dear friends, Sarah, officiated the wedding with lots of personal touches. One of our favorite parts was seeing Brett’s face just light up with pure joy and happiness as he saw Celina walking down the aisle!

As we photographed their couple session they swayed together, enjoyed the moments and had the biggest laughs! It really was such a joy to capture all of their moments of happiness and joy and we cannot wait to share, now, with you Celina and Brett’s gorgeous downtown Wilmington wedding sneak peek!
