Sara and I love to sit and and enjoy our Christmas tress with their twinkling lights, the smell of pine, and watching our favorite Christmas movies: The Muppet’s Christmas Carol or It’s a Wonderful Life (oh don’t you worry we always find time to play Pride and Prejudice too). However the holiday celebration can be clouded up by the hustle and bustle of preparing for family gatherings. It can be very stressful and putting that much pressure on yourself can lead to you being sick on the holiday, which no one desires!
So let’s find a few ways you can take care of yourself this holiday season! Sara and I are sharing with you our five self care tips to have during the holiday season!
- Take Time For Yourself
- Take a Long Needed Shower/Bath
- Celebrate the Small Victories
- Create A Playlist That … (inspires, calms, motivates, or encourages you!)
- Set Boundaries For Yourself
Don’t strive so hard to get an enormous list of to-do’s done, that before you know it you’ve missed all the moments of the season. Savor every moment as we never get a chance to get them back!
