It’s so exciting for Sara and I to have couples, who we have met at weddings/other sessions, to come back around for us to serve them!
That’s our story with Sam and Mason. 🙂
We met Sam at Hannah and Cameron’s wedding (back in 2020!) when he was Hannah’s man of honor. We truly just connected with him and I immediately told Sara that when Sam got engaged we had to be their wedding photographers! Well now here we are, two years later, with an engagement session checked off so that when they get their full gallery back they can start creating save the dates for their October wedding!
Sam flew in from CA to spend an evening with us to do their session along with checking off other wedding items while in town on spring break! And let’s just say that NC weather did NOT disappoint! Over the weekend we had snow flurries, crazy wind and a ton of thunderstorm (so odd), but all of that stop on Monday. Perfectly clear skies, temperatures up in the high 60s and the spring pollen helping all of those flowers bloom! Seriously, it was the best weather ever.
For the session, as we always say but it’s always true, Sam and Mason completely rocked it out from beginning to end! They wanted something very modern and the Durham Hotel and the American Tobacco District gave them just that. But the sweetest part was seeing how sweet these two are together.
